DIAPHANOUS BIOFILIA PAVILION First place efimeral pavilion for the Biennal of Nuevo Leรณn. (Under construction) Urgent is a green city, alternate is a city open to change, possible is a city in which its inhabitants are awake, aware of their environment. As a society we need to make our cities capable of breathing fresh air, sharing the collective space and forming a community. As architects we have a duty to create spaces that allow these affairs, taking into account cognitive premises such as bi oph il ia, the presence of nature. It has been proven on several occasions that vegetation is essential for psychological development, since as human beings we have a de e p emoti onal need to be in contact with othe r li vi ng bein g s. THE EISODOS Eisodos means “entrance” as the goal is to receive people from rural background instead of pushing them out of their homes like they are now. The Eisodos provides low cost housing, services, education and the possibility to work in agriculture within the city. ¿A SANCTUARY WITHIN A HYPER-DENSE CITY? This project aims to explore a new way of densifying the city that gives people and green space the priority, claiming back the space from streets and splanades and transform it into green space for the city’s and people’s best interest. ¿how EISODOS deals with densification? A massive rectangular habitable “wall” shields the interior space from the chaos and over densified sorrounding spaces ¿LOST TRADITION? Inside this sanctuary a one of a kind space is located, a space that brings three traditional chinese sceneries. Mountains, Water towns and agricultural villages.

EISODOS TERME This project is part of the Eisodos Masterplan in Tongzhou, China, located right at the center of a botanical garden hosting endemic species.
Chinese cities are known for being frenetic and chaotic due to the amount of people, in response to that the bath house is surrounded by artificial mountains in order to provide the necessary privacy for a true sense of retreat from the city, giving citizens a possibility fror relaxation.
The use of different temperatures, scents, lighting levels and textures give the users a true multisensorial experience inside the bath house.

REFUGIO CONNATURAL
In a world where everything becomes irrelevant and expendable, the technological and materialistic culture has reduced architecture to purely instrumental structures for utilitarian purposes, a functionalized and commodified product that has been normalizing the emotions it incites. But in addition to corporeal needs, our thoughts, memories and desires must also take refuge. In spite of time we always continue our search of home, a stage for rituals and personal routines; Today, a refuge from the chaotic urban life. In the dichotomy between the superficial and the natural, the orthogonal and the sinuous‌ an immersive atmosphere of contradictions, paradoxes and an excitement of nature is created in a space that satisfies our most primitive need for refuge; protection, water, fire and food.

THE NEST
Pape nature park is a place of reunion and communication between humans and nature. The aim of the project is to respond to site conditions, animal species and low cost-energy efficient constructive process that doesn’t interrupt the site’s wildlife. The observation tower becomes the representation of the reunion of humans, birds and other animals as the tower stands as a platform that allows people to interact with the migrating birds where life is appreciated.
360 view The platforms were designed in a radial disposition, in order to situate vertical circulations in the center, Allowing people to have a total 360 experience. Maximum heights The heights of the platforms where designed in order for people to reach the best views possible with an allowed 11m. height Creating a 360 platform which surpases 10m. Structure permeability The modular structure allows permeability to integrate the tower with the site’s wildlife. The tower’s design allows to use less materials, being an environmentally conscious construction.
The bridge instead of being linear, its broken to create different view angles, that allow the user to experience the landscape and the tower in a different way.
