LA CAPITAL

The restaurant the capital is born from the idea of an introspective architecture, these concepts consist of making the architecture meet inside and the exterior isn't so striking. The context of the restaurant doesn't contain anything striking that adds value to its design, so to locate windows to a site that doesn't offer anything colorful to the person who is inside.

The objective was to generate cantilevered housing without it losing privacy inside, for this an initial volume was proposed which when duplicated divided the social/private spaces but without increasing the footage with which it began; the result added with it a terrace on the second floor and a portico on the first floor taking advantage of the 5 meter overhang, in this way the views from the house to the rest of the residential complex and even to the river were enhanced. The house has 1 kitchen, 1 dining room, 1 utility room, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 secondary bedrooms, 1 main bedroom, terrace and portico of stay.

15

A structure supported in iron materiality was chosen for two main reasons; the first is if firmness, stability, strength and efficient transmission of loads, the second for the aesthetics it provides being exposed. The materials used are few; gray brick, white stucco, wood laminate, ceramic, glass and iron frames. Structure, volumetria, spatiality and simple materiality, that's the SS4 house.

16

HOUSE B7

It is created under the concept of an introspective architecture, taking into account that the environment in which it is located is merely urban and the construction site didn’t have soft areas. This house, although it reduces its size generates a private entrance garden that responds to the need for a green area and contributes to the privacy of the interior of the home. Designed by Santiago Segura Pineda

17

The project consists of the renovation of what was once a storage warehouse, which had few entrances of natural light and its main lighting was artificial, in addition, its measures were 60 m² to build.

18

Therefore, a house for two people was proposed where natural lighting was effective and artificial lighting was used very little, in addition to including an extra room that adapts to the client's need and its final construction measure was 48 m². The house has a simple and uncomplicated volumetry on the outside and inside, with large windows, but not invasive of each space of the home, where its shape generates lights without the need to subtract privacy, all that thanks to the screen wall that is in the front, to which to take advantage of its small perforations are made that feed the light that comes from above. In addition to recycling the brick of what at first was the warehouse to use it in the interior walls of the house generating contrast.
