REPORT OF SURGE (FROM JULY 5th TO AUGUST 18TH 2023)

IM PRODUCTS TO HELP COORDINATE THE RESPONSE AND ADVOCATE

Overview

• In response to Sudan's complex crisis, I was deployed as an IM to develop products that will help facilitate coordination and advocacy efforts.

• Collaborating with the Coordination Unit, management, and the IM team on site, I developed 11 that we will talk about laters.

• These products played a pivotal role in advocating for the crisis and were shared with the IM Working Group (IMWG).

• Our primary focus was on harnessing cutting-edge technology to streamline information management, time management, and data integration.

0 1 The humanitarian Dashboard

The design was to emphasize critical crisis indicators and facilitate ongoing monitoring within each cluster, the most substantial product was developed in collaboration with members from various clusters. This product initially consisted of 2 pages but expanded to 14 pages, serving as a comprehensive tool for reporting and monitoring the response efforts.

Briefing Kit Presentation

To assist the management in organizing their communications with the HQ and obtaining essential data pertaining to the situation, a PowerPoint presentation was created, comprising 33 slides that comprehensively depict the entire scenario.

In order to track the trucks and goods arriving in Sudan with livelihoods and other supports

It was connected through Json API to a well developed Kobo form that was deployed to partners

STOCKPILE MAPPING

This one was to map the resources in stock, its dataset was coming from an Excel more like the common 3 of OCHA opened via an external sharedrive that we created in order to facilitate partners out of the organization to access and fill their information. We had to track, clean the data and structure them automatically using R in Power BI

This was the database designed with other colleagues in order to manage and analyse all the data of the HPC using powerful formulas of aggregation and analysis
