The Cocoa Garden is owned and run by chocolatier Sara-Jane Stillwell; completely self taught and a life long chocoholic, Sara-Jane delights in bringing people joy and happiness through tasting her chocolates. Having started out experimenting in her parents kitchen (exactly where she spent any ‘bored’ moment in her childhood baking cakes and pastries), Sara-Jane quickly started selling bits and pieces of chocolate to friends, managed a profitable first Easter only months after taking up the art of chocolate, supplied stunning handmade favours to her first wedding within 6 months and went full time after 9 to tackle a terrifically busy Christmas. Now well into its second year of business, The Cocoa Garden is continuing to succeed in its chocolate journey, supplying various delicatessens and preparing for its busiest Christmas yet. We will be taking on our first apprentice for this Christmas to train up in the art of chocolate and small business. One of The Cocoa Gardens core beliefs is that chocolate should be a guilt free pleasure to savour every day, so we are extremely careful to buy ethically sourced chocolate and ingredients. Our packaging is made from recyclable cardboard and/or biodegradable/ recyclable plastics and our pretty ribbons can be reused again by you!
