While nature itself is already perfect, I do not seek to replicate it but rather honor it though its colors, vibrancy, and abundance.

Its rich history has made Florence famous yet it continues to struggle to embrace the new and interesting concepts that are being presented by the growing international population that currently makes up the contemporary city.

Sara Amrhein
is an American jewelry artist who lives and works in Florence Italy.
Born in New York and raised in Los Angeles, she has always been interested in exploring new places and experimenting with new ideas and techniques. Her work is an eclectic combination of influences from her travels as well as her two homes. Her designs cross both cultural and artistic boarders. Over the years she has gained extensive experience in the art and fashion industry and has worked with in collaboration with Pop-Upsters in San Francisco, The One of a Kind Show and Sale in Chicago, and shown her work at Autor Contemporary Jewelry Fair in Bucharest, Romania. She has also recently collaborated with Etsy to write sales tips for their online seller handbook for successfully selling your products at markets and fairs. She attended the Fine Art program at Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles California where she graduated with honors and received her BFA. She recently opened a studio atelier of her own in the center of Florence where she works every day. In addition she is also the co - founder and organizer of Creative People in Florence, an artists group, which organizes meetings, collaborations, studio visits, and group shows for artists living and working in Florence Italy. www.creativepeopleinflorence.wordpress.com
