The aim of the project is to increase the accessibilities between two different type of life in the site with integrating the live, work and play concept. The Project has more than one accessibilities with creating a new one and activating an old one idea. This idea help people to walk everywhere with walking passages. And these are integrated with the design of a landscape which allow to breath in the crowded city atmosphere. Increasing the accessibilities with passages is designed by the play spaces as well. And the live work units are surrounded by these play units which are also circulation elements between them in the Project. There are different types of live and work units used by home office people. The site has an integrity with the whole building by using some play and work places on circulation which makes it like a city in the city. h t t p s : / / w w w . y o u t u b e . c om / wa tch?v=jzj3w2 i4 9 qM

UR BA N STR A TE GY This site has too few possibilities of accessibilities. There are only two connections between the upper side and below side of the bridge. Because of this low accessibility, the aim behind the concept is to give chances to people for access everywhere with only walking. The increases of pedestrian ways create other advantages such as; there are already lots of green areas and big trees near the railway. And this green spaces has a really beautiful views during a walking on the path way under them, but unfurtunately no one uses it. Therefore, the other aim with the pedestrian ways is to activate those unused spaces as well as the second bridge over the railway. The way of increasing the walk ways is alsa a help for decreasing the uses of cars and public transportations. The pedestrian ways are not only a passage, they have also potential of being play spaces with both open and close play space opportunities. This play spaces are public for people to breathe in the crowded city atmosphere. That’s why the play spaces are mostly green, open and in touch with nature. The live and work concept is to combine live and work which framed with play spaces. As we all know, from the site analyses the bigger site is seperated two different types of uses as rsidential and industrial with the given site. So our site is a kind of in the middle of two different world. So i thought to combine them together in the project within live and work units concept. In the project live and work places are consist from a single unit which has many opportunities as it’s different connection of other live and work units. There are many different types of connected live and work units according to uses. And while they connecting each other ,the space between them and around them are represent play spaces. And these play spaces are changing according to the sizes of live work place park combination on different types.

The task is to design an Art Center, which should be a cultural destination including a variety of indoor and outdoor programs such as exhibition areas, workshops spaces, ateliers for production as well as residency for artists. Design proposal should bring the traditional art such as painting and sculpture together with the new forms of contemporary art such as digital arts. It is expected to question the different spatial requirements for exhibiting digital arts versus traditional arts based on the visitor’s perception and experience. The desire is to establish a dialogue between the traditional and new. Bringing community, artists, the creative sector and investors together, the Art Center is expected to serve as a meeting point. The students will experiment on design strategies and analyze the relationship between the defined strategy and creation of complex architectural space. The studio will experiment on exploring different spatial structural and programmatic systems.

ST R A TEG Y The strategy that i thought is coming from the case studies. The first one that i researched, had an interaction, relation with the land scape. And i wanted the use this idea in this project. The second one has a special circulation with an open Z form in it. Therefore, i tried to combine those ideas to have a natural circulation in this project. When we visited the site, there were not enough spaces for any kind of travelers (pedestrians, cars, bicycles). And i took some references with lines from the roads to find some solution of this problem. The parts that intersected gave me an idea of where to direct the density of this project to make people naturally come inside of my building. And i started to move the land scape as the strategy of open Z form. I make moves according towhere i want the entrances of this project. After then, i took some parts out of it to save the existing trees for my landscape idea. Then i used the Z form for difference levels in the building this time. The final model is giving the idea of circulation and the landscape. The strategy helps to apply as a space creator with the form of Z elements. It is not only for circulation when the size gets bigger it create a space already. This form also allow me to create scalar shifts with playing the size of its parts. And it consists of repeating the forms but changing the sizes of the forms, so it also creates differentiation.
