At Nickelodeon, the main goal of our TV shows is making kids happy. Happy kids make happy parents, which in turn makes a happy family. By putting kids first, we aim to start a chain reaction spreading happiness all over the world!

At Nickelodeon, we aim to have something for everyone. We make shows for all kinds of kids to enjoy.

We think it’s okay to be a little bit different. You can always find something wacky, crazy, and even a little weird on Nickelodeon (but always a good weird).

Nickelodeon is all about having fun. Making kids smile and laugh are our favorite things to do.

Our shows are meant to be enjoyed together with the whole family. While our shows are aimed at kids, Mom and Dad are encouraged to sit down and watch with them.

When using the logo on a white or light-colored background, use the standard color scheme. When using the logo on a dark-colored or black background, use white for the type and Marmalade for the eyes and smile. (See page 6 for the complete color guide.) In certain situations when the logo cannot be presented in color, it is acceptable to change it to either solid black or solid white depending on the background.

special use logos These logos are for use on holidays and special occasions. When using these versions of the Nickelodeon logo, use the standard amount of clear space as detailed on page 5. The special use logos may be used in any instance the standard logo would be used.

Any time the Nickelodeon logo is used, it is important to use the equivalent of one letter N in clear space arond the logo.

It has been said that orange is associated with the unconventional. Since Nickelodeon shows are meant to be wacky, fun, and different, this is a perfect fit. The colors of the logo are meant to show the happiness and enjoyment felt when watching Nickelodeon.

typography The typeface for the Nickelodeon logo is Poetsen One. This typeface embodies our brand attributes by being wacky, playful, and diverse, but at the same time looking clean and professional. For any supporting text used with the logo, the typeface Bariol may be used. It emulates the roundness and fun feeling of Poetsen one, but it is simple and readable. It works well for any body copy. When appropriate, italic or bold versions of Bariol may be used.

on-screen use When the Nickelodeon logo is used on-screen during a television show, it may be placed in the bottom right corner. The standard amount of clear space may be used to measure the distance from the edges of the screen. If desired, the logo may be made slightly transparent as long as it is still clearly visible.
