thistle and rose. thistle and rose. is a fictional flower shop that draws inspiration from the great romantic writers of classic literature. Each bouquet comes wrapped with a quote of your choosing, examples being Austen, Tolstoy and the Bronte sisters. The color palette for thistle and rose. consists of pink and gold. A serif typeface in lower case is used for the logo and other type elements throughout the brand. Le Petit Meow Le Petit Meow is a French-inspired cat treat company. For this project, I wanted to combine my love of France and of cats, and thus, Le Petit Meow was born. Typically, cat food packaging is not aesthetically pleasing for the cat owner. My goal for this project was to create packaging that would be reminiscent of classic Parisian design. I used watercolor to create the pattern on each jar and Adobe Illustrator for all other elements. The colors on the packaging are inspired by the French flag.

Moon Beams Moon Beams is a St. Augustine based company that makes handmade wristbands and belts that light up for walking and biking at night. This project was created in collaboration with Spacecamp Co. The logo is a flashlight made of a constellation with fun, handwritten type. The color palette consists of dark grey and bright turquoise. The media items are business cards, tote bags for carrying items while biking, and the packaging for the handmade safety bands.
The Bunnery This project is a rebranding of a local St. Augustine favorite: The Bunnery. I wanted to give this bakery and cafe an upgrade. As it stands, there is no current logo used in the restaurant, just a hanging wooden sign outside. For the logo, I created a bunny holding a piece of wheat in its mouth; a play on the words “bunnery” and “bunny”. All textures are wooden and weathered to give the restaurant a rustic feel.

Washington Oaks State Park For this project, I rebranded Washington Oaks State Park. Currently, the park has no clear logo or park guide. There is a wayfinding system, however, it is quite dated. I wanted to brighten and liven up Washington Oaks. For the logo, I decided to draw upon classic state park badges for the shield shape. The color scheme consists of blue and green, reminiscent of the colors seen around the park. Washington Oaks is located in Palm Coast, FL.

Illustrated Literary Characters For this project, I illustrated the main characters of Pride and Prejudice. They are painted with watercolor and touched up in Adobe Photoshop. I have a special place in my heart for Jane Austen’s works and it was a joy to paint her beloved characters. I chose six main characters: Elizabeth Bennet, Mr. Darcy, Jane Bennet, Mr. Bingley, Mr. Wickham, and Lady Catherine. Above each coupling is a quote from the book that represents the characters.
