PROBLEM STATEMENT Chronic pain in Saudi Arabia is one of the most mistreated health problem. The percentage of chronic patients in 2015 reached 46.4% of adults. This health problem has negatively affected the quality of life on many people, where in some cases people lose their jobs and cannot function properly in their daily life routines .The very high percentage shows how grand the problem is where it is very needed to have a rehabilitation center that can provide holistic treatments and knowledge to patients of chronic pain.

Research shows that 46.4% of Saudi adults have chronic pain. No rehab centers in Saudi Arabia for chronic pain . Chronic pain is one of the most mistreated health problems in ksa. Lack of patient’s knowledge about coping with pain.

Achiving the third and fifth goal under the title ''Caring for our health '' 3-Focusing the public sector’s role in health care as we prepare for the benefits of privatization. 5-Providing doctors with enhanced training to improve treatment for chronic diseases (Saudi vision2030,2016)

Literature review evidence A research paper about the centers needs and how important is it to exist in Saudi Arabia depending on the factors found in medical and psychological studies found online.In addition to a survey analysis with key questions to all genders and age groups.And last studying existing centers around the world and understanding how they function in favour of therapy of chronic pain.All this effort helped tremendously later on in the space planning and design phase.

In your opinion, what is the best treatment for longterm persistent pain?’’was asked to see the knowledge people have about the problem and 61% agreed that on comprehensive therapy (treatment of alternative medicine by natural methods such as yoga, physical therapy, meditation, psycho-intellectual therapy, traditional medicine) is the better long term treatment

The survey was distributed amongst 180 participants .95% are females and 5% are males(A).

•The design proposal is a Women's chronic pain rehabilitation centere that focuses on more of a holistic approach to help patients with chronic pain to understand their conditions and to help them gain a new healthy lifestyle after finishing the programs Provided by the centre.

patients will finish the program understanding themselves and knowing what works better for them. The centre will provide physical activity treatments and combine it with cognitive and meditation based therapy.

Case study analysis

The case studies consisted of existing centres for similar therapies where it was presented as the final presentation for senior 1 research phase.We analysed the therapies,occupants and there needs the circulation and interior design of the space in general .Taking care of the wind and site analysis
