It was April 12th, the sun was shining, and the grass was fresh and dewy. Barry the bird woke up at the crack of dawn and realized it was her birthday.

Barry had no plans on her special day. She realized that something was missing. Her friends weremnowhere to be found. Barry ventured out to get herself dinner, preferably a worm. Worms were her favorite.

She wesnt back to her nest and noticed noise coming from her tree. She heard a "shhh" and "be quiet, she's almost here!"

"Happy Birthday!" Barry flew up into her tree and saw all of her friends, including Bobby the bunny, Tweety and Tawny the twin birds, and her downstairs neighbor Skippy the squirrel who lived in the hole below.

Barry was in shock. Her friends didn't forget about her! She was filled with joy. They even brought her a worm cake!

Barry fell asleep that night knowing she was very blessed. She couldn't wait until her birthday next year.
