Klare’s Home-Made HobNobs 8oz Plain Flour 8oz Oats 8oz Sugar (I use a mixture of white and brown) 8oz Butter 1 tablespoon Golden Syrup 1 tablespoon Hot Water ½ teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Melt the butter gently in a pan with the golden syrup and water. Pour the melted mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients and stir well. Form the mixture into small balls and press onto a baking skeet make sure they are spread well apart. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes (until golden brown). Allow to cool slightly in the tray until they are firm enough to remove.
