ABOUT I grew up in a large family, with parents who encouraged creative thinking. I first became interested in interior design when I was a young girl watching design shows with my sister. I attended Andrews University from 2011-2017 where I completed a minor in graphic design, and helped pioneer the new interior design program as its first member to graduate. I have a passion for creating spaces that welcome people, inspire new ways of thinking, and help promote healthy indoor environments. Traveling has had a huge impact on my view of design and the world; it has helped flavor my work and changed my perspective.

Wightman & Associates, Inc. is an engineering, surveying, architecture, GIS, and environmental firm in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The project seen here is a remodel of their lobby and administration area. I worked under Marissa Kovatch during the course of this project. She was the senior designer for the company at the time of this project.

HOSPITALITY [ST. JOSEPH, MI]

The project is a mid-size facility that would accommodate a hotel, small innovation center, and retail. The location of this project is St. Joseph, Michigan. I was given the shell of this building, with the intention of devoloping a premise for the design, spacial layouts, and furniture and material selections. My main focus was on the typical hotel rooms and the conference hall in the innovation center. *The media for this project were Revit drawings, rendered in Revit and Photoshop.

THE SANITARIUM [BENTON HARBOR, MI]

This mixed use project was a sanitarium in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The client was asking for the following: - A health-oriented restaurant, able to seat 100 people. - A small book store/library, minimum 1,000 sq ft. Second Floor Space Plan

- A small gallery area. - Classrooms and laboratories. - A small fitness center, minimum 2,000 sq ft. - Administrative offices. - A rehabilitation center or shelter, including 8-12 transient

dwelling units. *The media for this project were hand drawings, rendered in Photoshop.

TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH [BERRIEN SPRINGS, MI]

This project was a renovation plan for the Trinity Lutheran Church in Berrien Springs, Michigan. The church basement was in need of some updating; it included space planning and material selection for the fellowship hall, two lobbies, and a classroom. *The media for this project was hand drawings, rendered in color pencil.

The second project featured was also for the Trinity Lutheran Church. It was a collaborative project with two designers, Celeena Seats and Keila Creed, where I did space planning, material selection, and lighting design for the community center on the site. *The media for this project was hand drawings, rendered in Photoshop.

TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH DAYCARE [BERRIEN SPRINGS, MI]

COUNTRY DWELLING [EMPIRE, MI]

This residential project was to be a small home, 1300 to 1700 sq ft in a new neighborhood in Empire, Michigan. The house structure was heavy timber, with sip panels for the exterior walls. It was meant to be a home for aging in place, with at least one bedroom on the ground floor. There is also a granny flat above the garage, which is located off the alley at the rear of the property. One major requirement for this project was that it have one special place. *The media for this project was hand drawings, black and white.
