The tool used for the resolution of the problems is a complex process. It begins with a needs analysis and culminates with the incorporation of a " non architectural " element, the molecular structure of black gunpowder.I chose this element as a reference to a centuries-old Chinese contribution to the world. The result of the project is a combination of lines which represent the poetic geometry. The effect is that the whole ideas and every concept become tangible in the architecture. They move away from the creation of an object to come closer to the functionability of the space, where each of the rooms are interrelated. The development of the building turns into a succession of operations where it is the process the one that receives importance and not the final product.

The existing Kokerei building is extended and rehabilited. The creation of different spaces is developed throught the utilization of different types of fabric and the use of auxiliary metal structures. Existing rooms are rehabilited by covering the walls, ceilings and floors with different kinds of fabric. In this way we can obtain new spaces that have a different geometries from the originals.
