I have extensive experience in design, project management and construction administration of medium to large institutional buildings. More recently, my freelance practice has centered on smaller-scale residential renovation and ground-up projects, as well as institutional competitions in Europe, all with a strong focus on sustainable design.

Plans and presentation materials for three institutional building competitions in Switzerland: a firehouse and parking garage (5.200 m2); an existing historic school building addition to include a new sports pavilion and classrooms (3.500 m2); and an urban complex with repurposed historic buildings and a new tower, to house the city hall, a library and office space (6.000 m2).

Gut renovation of a four-story industrial building to house new public galleries, classrooms, artist studios and offices. Managed construction from the bid phase: reviewed submittals and shop drawings, responded to RFIs, issued construction bulletins, sketches and field reports, reviewed change orders, submitted add-service proposals to client, and coordinated communication between contractor, client, consultants and city agencies. Represented design team at biweekly site meetings.
