In this extraordinary season, Sarasota Opera has relied more than ever on the philanthropic support of our community. We have been inspired to see that community come forward to raise their voices for the opera company they love with annual gift renewals, special support during The Giving Challenge, and support of our special campaigns like the Sarasota Opera Relief Fund and Taste of Downtown.
The challenge continues, though, and the help we receive from a growing number of supporters enables Sarasota Opera to move forward with confidence. There are different ways you can join more than 1,000 of your fellow opera lovers this season who have endorsed our mission to entertain, enrich, and educate our vibrant community by producing opera true to the vision of the composer. Sarasota Opera Youth Opera
$50 - $5,000+ Donors to the Sarasota Youth Opera support one of the most comprehensive youth opera programs in the country, providing a unique music education to youth, aged 8-18, from the greater Sarasota area and beyond. Youth Opera contributors enjoy special access to dress rehearsals and receptions that celebrate the student artists and their families.
Sarasota Opera STARs
$75 - $5,999
Our STARs are the largest group of donors, supporting worldclass productions and enriching education and community engagement programs each season. Becoming a donor at this level will also provide many opportunities for you to expand your knowledge of the art form and deepen your experience of Sarasota Opera productions.
All gifts of $75 or more ($50 or more for Youth Opera) include name recognition in our program books. Co-Producer, Season Producer, and Production Co-Sponsor level contributors receive personal concierge service from a staff liaison, invitations to special events, and name and photo recognition in our program books and on the surtitle screen. Sarasota Opera Association, Inc., a not-for-profit, tax exempt organization, acknowledges contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Co-Producers and Season Producers underwrite a substantial portion of the cost of producing world-class opera in Sarasota. Becoming a Season Producer or Co-Producer brings you VIP status and immerses you in the Sarasota Opera production process with access to dress rehearsals, dinners with artists, and concierge service from Sarasota Opera’s Development staff.
