What we do

OUR STORY The story began in Stockholm back in 2005, when our founder Linda Sätterström had her first daughter, Elodie. Well-designed clothing for babies and toddlers where available everywhere back then. But Linda couldn´t find designed alterantives for many of the other products that you need for life with a baby. So she developed her first product, a pacifier clip. One that was beautiful and that would match her daughter’s outfit. She began selling the clips and the idea really struck a note with other parents. First in Stockholm, then Sweden, and finally all over the world. The pacifier clip remains Elodie’s flagship product and one of our best sellers.

What began as a neat little DIY-project has now grown to become a well-known international brand with head office in Stockholm and a fantastic group of employees that share Linda’s passion for design and functionality. Together they have created a wide range of products for babies and toddlers, ranging from pacifiers and bibs to strollers and stroller accessories; products that make life with children even more beautiful. TAKING RESPONSIBILTY FOR OUR CHILDREN´S FUTURE At Elodie we recognize the contradiction between an industry driven by fast consumption, and the concept of sustainability. So, instead of identifying as a sustainable brand, we want to show you how we aim at becoming the most responsible version of ourselves. Our goal is that by 2026, every product in our assortment will be produced according to one or several of our four Production Principles. 1. Recycled materials Whether it is Polyester from PET-bottles or recycled cotton, every material that is re-used rather than produced is a win for the environment. 2. Made to last We develop all our products from scratch, which means we can control every single quality aspect of them in order to increase their lifetime as much as possible. While some products, like a pacifier, are inherently impossible to make last, many others can be used for more than one child. To qualify for this principle, a product must pass the test of being used for a minimum of three children without losing function or attractiveness.

3. Plant-based materials Traditional plastic is petroleum-based and as such not a renewable resource. By mixing in plant-based fibers we can create materials that requires less limited resources and are much more bio-degradable than ordinary plastic. 4. Upcycling Through creative design and smart ideas we make products that can be used for more than their original purpose. A diaper bag can and should be more than a diaper bag, and a Baby Gym can be converted to a clothing rack. In smart and fun ways, we help our customers reduce their overall consumption by upcycling and re-using our products.

DROP 1 BACK TO PRE-SCHOOL Bring on the excitement of going back to School! Elodie has throughout the years provided pre-schoolers with premium quality equipment for these action-packed days. We are now introducing BackPack MIDI – a slightly larger version of our immensely popular BackPack MINI. The new larger version is suitable for children ages three and up.

DROP 2 THE FAIRYTALE FOREST Welcome to our friendly forest, where the streams are lined with silver, the acorns grow tall, and all the little animals have stories to tell. This is where we found our inspiration, among the flowing ferns and moss-covered settings. At the edge of the wood stands a little lodge, where this collection was created. You’ll find a stunning shade of Jade and a touch of lavender

lilac. We’ve given it a light silver sheen and sprinkled it with delightful little dots. Our bunny friend Beatrice and her animal companions have found their perfect place among the designs and prints as well. This season is filled with pieces that can spark your imagination and are anything but ordinary. Just like a fairytale.
