We would best describe the look we were going for as ‘English Garden Party’, we didn’t want the day to look too themed but we definitely wanted a coherent style and colour palette running through the day. We kept to neutral, soft colours; lots of white, varying greens, pale greys and touches of gold. The traditional pole tent marquee, lawn games, props, elderflower drinks and Pimms jelly all helped to tie the overall feel together. We used lots of fairy lights and festoon lights both in the garden and marquee, so the garden party look continued into the evening – Niamh & Alex
