This camp will focus on introduction and review of letters and sounds in a fun, multisensory w awareness activities will also be incorporated to provide those foundational skills necessary fo Instructor: Donna Moxley, Pre-K Teacher

This camp will work on the 4 C’s: compliance, conversation, control (of self), and cooperation ( activities will be used to focus on flexible thinking, social skills, impulse control, personal space skills. First Grade Rules $100

Explore the world this summer! During this camp we will explore a different continent each da about the countries, geography, animals, and cultures that can be found in each. This will be a around the world without ever leaving Nashville! Instructor: Emily Hopkins, 4th Level Teacher

This class will provide various strategies for time management, organization, planning, and te organizational supplies required for the class will be provided before the 1 st day. This class is designed to practice oral reading fluency within fun drama activities. Students wi variety of short plays and perform for their peers. A final performance will be given for parent camp @ 11:15. Instructor: Emily Hopkins, 4th Level Teacher

Math Fact Frivolity $50

Automatic recall of math facts is vital to your child’s success in mathematics. This camp will h games designed to provide students practice with those math facts. Games will be tailored to t your child. Instructor: Margaret Thornton, 1st Level Teacher

Writer’s Workshop $100

Rising 2nd-4th

Want to become an author? During this fun class, you will use your own writer’s notebook to m of great authors and create grand stories of your own. Grab your pencil, turn your imaginatio to become an author! Instructor: Margaret Thornton, 1st Level Teacher

Intro to Drama $100

This camp session is geared to younger children who are interesting in acting. Students will le their voice as an actor, movement on the stage, and other important skills through games and A final performance will be given for parents on the Friday of camp @ 2:15. Advanced Reading Detectives 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. $100

Spend a week learning and playing various board and table-top games ranging from role play like Dungeons & Dragons to cooperative games like Forbidden Island. American Girl Doll $170

Do you love the American Girl Doll Collection? Bring the American Girl Dolls to life in this cam doll's history. Take a trip back in time as you learn about the lives of these fascinating girls thr crafts, and other learning activities. There will be time for doll fun along the way, including a with our dolls. Come and spend two hours jumping, flipping, and twirling! The first hour will be spent doing g from cartwheels and handstands to handsprings and beam exercises. The second hour will be various dance styles including ballet, hip hop, hoop dance, and hula! The Cure for IDK: If you are a writer with “page fright,” this camp teaches how to let go and no judgment or red pen marks. Campers learn to explore writing styles, analyze published authors their own writing skills, & share their writing in a supportive, encouraging environment! Forensics $100

Rising 5th-8th

This specialized camp is for students interested in forensics who would like to develop an even Nashville Catholic Middle School Forensics League season. Each camper may choose to concen forensics event and through intensive individualized coaching and team experiences, the camp piece, practice performing, and learn the art of effective delivery. Activities will include tips on improvisation as well as all the components of effective performance including, but not limited expressiveness, volume, enunciation, pacing, and writing an introduction. Drama $100

This session will go a step beyond the Intro to Drama. Students will learn how to work in an ens develop their characters, follow stage direction, as well as many other skills in order to put on a end of the week. Lights! Camera! Action! 10:30 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. $100

Rising 5th-8th

Have you always wanted to be on the big screen? Or maybe you would prefer to be behind the scenes? Join your friends and as a team, spend the week making your movie dreams come true! Using iPads and other video recording devices, we’ll spend the week scripting, filming, and editing your imagination into a short film. Whether live action, stop-motion, animation, or even claymation, the choice is yours. Come prepared with your thoughts and ideas as well as any props or costumes you wish to use. Films will be showcased on Friday at 12:00 followed by our own SBA Academy Awards. Let’s make magic happen! Instructor: Danielle Powell, Social Studies Teacher

Students role-playing as scientists isolate a gene encoding a “glowing” protein from a fictitious Rain Forest plant that may cure human disease. Instructor: Brent D. Wineinger, Life Science Coach

Rising 3rd-8th

Join SBA’s resident artist for an exploration of our world through photography. Students will learn about composition and contrast using B&W techniques and finish the week with a portfolio of their best work! A permission slip for travel to Nashville locations will be sent home the 1st day. Materials fee included in cost. Instructor: Bobbi Negron, Art Teacher
