FACTS DEADLINE Tuition payment PLANS for the 13/14 school year are due NOW. Please make sure to enroll with FACTS and make your selection for paying tuition. Families have the option to pay monthly, quarterly or one annual lump sum payment. The link to enroll is located in the “quick link” box on the SBA homepage- It only takes a few minutes to enroll.

SBA NCAA Spring Signing Day We will be celebrating all of our Student Athletes who have signed or are signing their letter of intent to play on the collegiate level next season on April 17th after school. Happy Spring from Home and School. We hope everyone had a great Easter break. The last quarter has begun and the finish line is right around the corner. But we have many more things to do before we are through. This weekend brings prom and then on April 21st the Mother/Son Dinner. These are truly fun events and time to make memories with your senior students. We hope you will join us and spend some special time with your students. Our next Home and School meeting is April 17th, 8:00 AM in the Faculty/Staff Cafeteria. At this very important year end meeting we will be electing next year’s officers, planning for final year end events and the Used Uniform Sale. Please join us. We hope that our incoming Freshman parents will come to this meeting as well and discover all the ways to get involved at SBA. The Used Uniform Sale date has been set. Drop off for sale items will be on June 3rd and the actual sale date will be June 4th. Look for additional information to come in the next few weeks. “News” for New Students Athletic Orientation Night Wednesday, April 17, 2013 SBA Gymnasium Athletic Orientation is an opportunity to for new students to learn about all of the Athletic Teams that compete for St. Benedict. Each team will have information on practices and tryouts and will have current players and coaches available to answer questions. Any new student who will be playing a sport at SBA next season is encouraged to attend.

Campbell Clinic Physical Day The date has been set for the Annual Campbell Clinic Physical Day. On April 27th, starting at 7:30am at the Campbell Clinic location off of Germantown Road, Campbell Clinic will be offering $20 physicals to all SBA students. This is an easy way to make sure that your student has a physical on file with SBA for next year if they plan on participating in a sport. The physical form will be available soon on the SBA Website at www.sbaeagles.org/forms

SFA Fall Fest 2013 We are starting the planning process for the 2013 SFA Fall Fest event. This year's event will take place on Friday September 27th and Saturday September 28th. We are always looking for SFA Parishioners who would like to assist in the planning and the weekend event. We are also looking for sponsors and this year, being a sponsor, will include the ability to sponsor contests during the event. TRAVEL OPPORTUNITY! Bell’ Italia June of 2014 discover the regional traditions, the unique sights and the vibrant culture of Italy. Venice’s canals make this city like no other on Earth. In Florence, history and culture are one and the same – the Renaissance Duomo symbolizes a major turning point in Western civilization. The Roman Colosseum reminds us of the ancient empire’s crucial role in shaping our world. Members of St. Francis of Assisi Church and/or faculty members and friends of SFA School can experience our Catholic faith by joining us on this trip and for the Sunday Papal blessing in Vatican Square. Join us for an informational meeting and more details about this exciting, eleven day adventure with EF Educational Tours and led by Sandi Chando as we explore our church history and Bell’ Italia! The itinerary will include Venice, Florence, Assisi, Rome, Pompeii, and Capri and will include upgraded meals and hotels. This trip is geared more toward adult travelers, but students are welcome if traveling with a parent.
