Business News – 2013/14 Tuition Payment Plans Tuition Payment Plans for ALL families should be set and scheduled. You will receive your e-mail reminders for tuition payments due directly from FACTS (based on the annual, quarterly, or monthly options). If you need to make adjustments on your tuition account payment plan, you can e-mail or call the SBA Business Office at hurtk@sbaeagles.org or 901-260-2868. IF you have NOT received an e-mail confirmation from FACTS for your family’s payment plan, please contact our business office and make sure the correct e-mail address or mailing address was set up.

Quarterly due dates are May, August, November, & February. Monthly Payment Plans should be paid off by March 2014. Annual Payments are due July 1st, 2013.


News from Home & School The 2013 Used Uniform Sale is set for June 3rd (drop off) and June 4th (sale date and pick up). Please see click here for information for selling your items and filling out the proper paperwork. The ACTUAL SALE DATE AND TIME IS JUNE 4th 7:30AM - 10:00AM. You will need checks made payable to each individual seller so bring plenty of checks or we also will be accepting cash. DROP OFF DATE IS JUNE 3rd. We have two times scheduled for drop off: 7:30 - 10:00AM and 5:30 - 7:15pm In order to sell your items, each item must be listed on the attached form and each item must be tagged with safety pins. Please see the forms for the correct format. Contact MaryMargaret Morning for any questions or concerns prior to drop off day at rmmorning@comcast.net. If you wish to pick up your unsold items please make certain you mark the correct box on the form. All items and $$ not picked up during pick up time will be donated to SBA Home and School. Pick up time is from 12:00-1:00pm on June 4th and 5:00-6:00 on June 4th.

Parker Uniform Sale Days Parker Uniform will be offering sale days on June 14th, 15th, 21st, & 22nd. Customers will receive 10% of orders up to $250. For orders over $250, they will receive 15% off. On June 15th and 22nd, they will stay open until 4:30pm

SFA Fall Fest 2013 We are starting the planning process for the 2013 SFA Fall Fest event. This year's event will take place on Friday September 27th and Saturday September 28th. We are always looking for SFA Parishioners who would like to assist in the planning and the weekend event. We are also looking for sponsors and this year, being a sponsor, will include the ability to sponsor contests during the event. An Original Musical based on the story of “Job� written and produced by JAMM MINISTRY (John Angotti Music Mission). Mr. Angotti is an internationally acclaimed vocalist, musician and song writer who gives glory to God through his talent. Now he offers an original stage musical. JOB brings a message of hope to the question of why do bad things happen to good people. This production of JOB is the pilot, and you have the opportunity to be a part of this project, as we begin the process to get the message of hope in times of despair and suffering to the world through musical theatre. The dates of this pilot performance are July 18, 19, 20 at the St. Benedict Performing Arts Theatre. SBA alums, faculty and current students will be a part of this exciting production. What is Meningitis Disease? Meningococcal disease is a serious bacterial illness. It is a leading cause of bacterial meningitis in children 2 through 18 years old in the United States. Meningitis is an infection of the covering of the brain and the spinal cord.

What is Meningitis vaccine? Meningitis vaccine is a vaccine for older children, adolescents and adults that safely protects against meningococcal disease.

Who should receive meningitis vaccine? Meningitis vaccine is recommended for adolescents 11 through 18 years and high risk children (college students living in dorms). Two doses of meningitis vaccine (MCV4) are recommended for adolescents 11 through 18 years of age: the first dose at 11 or 12 years of age, with a booster dose at age 16. High risk patients (i.e. students living in dorms) should receive one dose.

Why is the Meningitis vaccine recommended for college bound children? Studies have shown that students living in college dormitories have a higher risk of developing meningitis disease than students living in other accommodations. This risk is highest for incoming freshman.
