THE WEDDING SINGER – TICKETS ON SALE NOW for only $10. $15 at the door. !

The$Wedding$Singer!takes us back to a time when hair was big, greed was good, collars were up, and a wedding singer might just be the coolest guy in the room. Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer's sparkling new score does for the '80s what Hairspray did for the '60s. Just say yes to the most romantic musical in 20 years. It's 1985 and rock-star wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey's favorite wedding singer. He's the life of the party, until his own fianceĂŠ leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As luck would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever. The SBA Celebration Troupe is proud to present this new classic with original pop tunes so catchy you may not be able to get them out of your head for days. Our production will be very student driven with choreography, assistant directing, stage managing, designing, multimedia projection, instrumentalist and, of course, performance duties all handled by 9th through 12th grade Eagles. Having won Best Overall Production last year at the Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards, SBA is thrilled to continue its high quality theatrical tradition with The Wedding Singer, March 26-29.

NEWS FROM HOME & SCHOOL Welcome Back! Today begins the last quarter of the 2014-15 school year. Time will really start to fly by now. Just before or during spring break, E-Vites were sent to Seniors for the Father-Son Outing and the Mother-Daughter Tea (both events are on April 12th). Please check your “spam” email and make certain these were delivered. We’ll need to have $$ and reservations placed by April 1st for both of these events in order to have headcount for catering. Next weekend is the FatherDaughter Dance (March 22nd). This event is open to Junior and Senior girls with their Dad’s. If you have any questions, please contact Belinda Hurley. More information will be coming out regarding the Mother-Son Dinner in late April. Our next Monthly Teacher Treat is tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17th. Please sign up via Sign-Up Genius link below. We need at least 9 more volunteers. Please consider helping out if you can. Homemade or store bought is fine. Our teachers and staff appreciate all that we do for them and we like to show them special attention to let them know how much they mean to us and how lucky we are to have them at our school. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0b4aadac29a7fa7-201420152 Our last Home and School meeting of the year is April 21st. At this meeting we will be electing a new President and filling several Chairperson positions for those that are being vacated by graduating Senior parents. Please consider stepping up into one of these important roles and keep the traditions alive at SBA. The Used Uniform Sale will be on June 1st and 2nd. Look for additional information in the coming weeks. This is a great way to get some good deals on uniforms for the 2016-16 school year. Remember we are on

Search us at “SBA Home and School”. Like us and keep up with all the information going on and ways to use your talent and volunteer!! Also, the latest minutes from the January Home and School meeting are posted on our Facebook page. You will also find “THANK YOU” notes from our teachers and staff that have been written throughout the year. They really do appreciate all that we do.
