New Cafeteria Service at SBA We look forward to our new partnership with MMI Dining Systems. Our dining facilities are state-of-theart for high school students. MMI Dining Services has an excellent reputation in this area and will only enhance our service to our students’ dining needs. Their menu and information is in the registration packet online at sbaeagles.org/registration.

Sneak-A-Peek for New Students


First Days of School The First Day of School for all NEW students in grades 9-12 is Monday, August 19. This first day will be “Orientation Day� and a half day of school. The day will begin at 7:45 am with 12:15 pm dismissal. Bell rings at 7:45! School begins for all returning students on Tuesday, August 20.

Business News FACTS management is handling all of the billing for SBA for the 13/14 school year. You can e-mail or call the SBA Business Office at hurtk@sbaeagles.org or 901-260-2868 if you have any questions about your tuition account. All families must have an active payment plan before the final schedules will be released in August.


Academic News Don’t forget that summer reading requirements are listed on the SBA website. Click on the “Students” tab then the “Summer Reading Requirements” tab. All grade levels have one required book and several available for extra credit. All Advanced Placement students have additional reading requirements. Incoming Algebra I students were emailed a packet to help prepare them for the fall. We highly encourage students to complete the packet which may be substituted for a Math quiz grade. The online bookstore is now open! All textbook numbers are listed as well.

SAM MAUCK, diocesan director of Catholic Campus Ministry.

The day begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Cost is only $20 for teens and $10 for adults!! Registration fee includes two meals and a dance! Don’t miss out on this chance to kick-off the new year and learn how to “KEEP THE FAITH.” (registration form on other side)
