YEARBOOK NEEDS YOUR PICTURES On your smart phone, please download the Balfour Image Share APP. It will allow you to directly submit photos to the yearbook staff. The photos will upload to our design site after teacher approval. Enter the code: 607601, No password is required. The app will ask you to identify the people in the photo. What are we looking for?  sports action shots  hands-on classroom activities  audience shots at sporting events  pictures from clubs and club activities  pictures from play or sports practice No posed photography please. Not all photos will be used. Thank you for your help! We are excited about this new program. SENIOR PARENTS – PLEASE NOTE 

 

Seniors who turn in senior quote and baby picture by Friday, August 28 will be entered into a drawing for a Chick-Fil-A gift card. Baby photos and quotes should be emailed to sbayearbook@sbaeagles.org. If you have a hard copy baby picture, please turn it into the front office. Make sure name is written neatly on the back. Quotes must be emailed. If student has not already had senior picture taken at Holland Studios, make an appointment today by calling 362-1818 - Deadline is September 17. Also, be sure to pick out composite photo at Holland Studios by September 17. If not chosen by deadline, Holland will pick it.

Pre-Season Conditioning: When: August 24 – September 12 (Mon-Thurs) Where/Time: Mon & Wed at SBA 3:15-4:15pm Dryland conditioning Tues & Thurs at the Cordova YMCA 3:30-4:30pm Swimming Cordova Y: 7950 Club Center Cove *** For drylands, come prepared with workout gear, tennis shoes/socks and a bottle of water. For swimming, don’t forget your goggles and swim cap! Try-Outs: When: September 15 and 17 3:30pm Where: Cordova YMCA After Try-Outs Team Information Meeting (Family): When: Sunday, September 20, SBA Dining Hall, 6 pm (potluck, more information later)


SPIRIT SHOP !!!!

Welcome Parents! The SBA Spirit Shop will be open on MEET THE TEACHER NIGHT, August 27, starting at 6pm. We will be in the main foyer, next to the chapel. JUNIOR BAKE SALE “MEET THE TEACHER” NIGHT

The Junior Class will host a bake sale on “Meet the Teacher Night,” August 27. Parents will have the opportunity to partake of some goodies during their students’ lunch periods. Please bring your petty cash to help out the juniors and enjoy some treats. **JUNIOR PARENTS, PLEASE NOTE - Junior boys are asked to bring 6 canned soft drinks or bottles of water and girls are asked to bring a dessert.

Collierville Residents SBA students from Collierville are encouraged to apply for Youth Leadership Collierville. Applications are available in the counseling office and are due by the end of August.
