GOVERNOR’S SCHOOL Applications now available! Great summer program for current sophomores and juniors! Students should see Ms. Brannon or Ms. David if interested in applying. DRIVER’S PERMIT ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION FORM – is required in order for a student to get a Driver’s Permit. Students may pick up a form in the front office during regular office hours. Please have student Social Security Number to complete the form.

AP/HONORS INFORMATION NIGHT – Wednesday • Nov. 11 • 6:00 pm • Dining Hall All students interested in taking honors or AP courses next year should attend. Parents welcome!


SERVICE AT SBA OPPORTUNITIES SBA STUDENTS FOR LIFE - LAST WEEK TREE OF LIFE DONATIONS Students are asked to choose a leaf with a new baby item on it and purchase that item to place under the tree with the leaf attached and student’s name on the leaf. Donated to Life Choices and Birthright pro-life centers.

BENEDICTEENS – collecting gently used coats/jackets for Project Outreach! Please put them in the bins near the library and dining hall. Each year Project Outreach provides used or new coats/jackets to the needy of Fayette County servicing approximately 250 families.

BLOOD DRIVE – The Fall Blood Drive is Monday, Nov. 2, 8:30am-2pm in the Faculty Dining Hall. All invited to donate (16 or older-must have parental consent form Ms. Thackery).


First NCAA National Letter of Intent Signing Day is Wed., Nov. 11 after school in the gym. If your student is signing to play athletics in college please contact Mrs. Masterson.

Trivia Night Fundraiser Benefiting St. Benedict Project Graduation

All Through the Years Saturday Night, November 21, 2015 SBA Dining Hall How does it work?       

$15 per player Doors Open at 6:30 p.m. Questions begin at 7:30 p.m. created by Brother Ignatius of CBU. Teams will consist of a minimum of 6 people, maximum of 8 people. In the interest of fairness – no more than 8 people per team. Door prizes are drawn throughout the night. Walk-Ins accepted at the door IF tables are available. Tables assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. (Limit of 45 tables.)

What’s in store?     

The contest will consist of ten rounds of ten questions for a total of 100 questions. Categories cover a wide range – something for everyone!! All team members placing 1st, 2nd and last will receive prizes! Two games of Heads or Tails Mulligans – $5.00 each or 6 for $20.00. Limit 6 per team. (Mulligans are labels that can be used as a correct answer when a team is stumped on a question.)
