Exam Week Breakfast and Break The dining hall will be open during exam week for breakfast and snacks from 7am-9:30am.

Christmas Break EXTENDED SBA has been selected by Apple for an on-site Professional Development Seminar for our faculty. We will host this for faculty only on Tuesday, January 6th. Therefore, students will not return to school until, Wednesday, January 7th.

Weekly Confession Fr. Gonzalez has graciously offered to come every Monday from 10:30-12:40 to hear confessions! This is a great gift to us. Please help spread the word to the whole SBA community-- confession is not just offered for students, but for anyone who would like to come.

ACT Practice Test There is still one more opportunity to take a practice ACT. These are actual ACT's that have been retired for practice purposes. A practice test is a great way to get a feel for the test, to evaluate strengths and weaknesses, and to assess readiness for the ACT. The remaining test date is January 17 from 9 to 12:15. The cost is $10. See Ms. Brannon to sign-up.

Tuition Students whose accounts are in arrears are subject to being prohibited from taking exams. Outstanding financial obligations will prohibit the school from releasing grades/transcripts. According to TSSAA rules, any student athlete whose tuition account is more than 60 days in arrears is automatically ineligible from participating. If there are extenuating circumstances that prevent a family from following the tuition schedules, these circumstances must be discussed with the Business Office before the scheduled due date of the tuition payment. Please email our business office at hurtk@sbaeagles.org if you need to request an updated tuition statement or sign on to your FACTS agreement to review your payment plan.

The!Catholic!Public!Policy!Commission!of!TN,!chaired!by!the!three!Bishops,!serves!as!the!public!policy!voice!of!the! Catholic!Church!in!Tennessee.!!The!CPPC!board!of!directors!along!with!their!education!committee!has!been!studying!the! legislation!referred!to!as!“Parental!Choice”!or!“School!Choice”!for!several!years.!!! !

Parental!Choice!legislation,!if!passed,!will!allow!parents!to!seek!out!the!most!appropriate!educational!opportunities!for! their!children!without!financial!penalty!or!zip!code!limitations.!! No!such!legislation!made!it!into!law!during!the!past!legislative!session.!We!expect!several!bills!on!this!issue!to!be! introduced!when!the!legislative!session!begins!on!January!13th.!!We!will!review!all!of!these!and!share!with!you!the!one! the!CPPC!choses!to!support.!!! !
