THE BASICS DAILY/WEEKLY SCHEDULES u School hours are 7:45 am – 3:00 pm u  Students are allowed to arrive on campus at

7:00 am u Tuesday 2:20 pm dismissal - club/organization meetings (Sept – April) u The first Wednesday of each month 2:00 pm dismissal – (Sept. - April) for faculty Professional Development. u 8 class periods (includes lunch). u  50 minutes in length with 5 minutes between each

class.


THE BASICS u Drop-off and Pick-up u We do share exits with SFA. u 3 lanes in front of school parallel with Varnavas. a.

Lane 3 (closest to school) – parking to drop off and pick up

b.

Lane 2 (middle lane)driving up and student is getting into or out off car

c.

Lane 1 (outside lane) should be moving at all times.

u Day begins with Prayer and Pledge u School doors are secured u Security Guard is on duty daily 7:00 am until all students are

gone.


THE BASICS COMMUNICATIONS u Monday Mail – via email u ADMIN-NOTIFY – used for emergency information (school closing, delays) will be sent through email, phone call and text messages.

u PLUS Portal – instructions on setting up parent and student accounts will be sent in August.

u On Eagles’ Wings – quarterly newsletter mailed to parents, grandparents and alumni

u Benedictine Principal’s Newsletter – monthly via email


THE BASICS COMMUNICATIONS u Streaming Eagle a.  4 screens located in different locations b.  Students learn to check these as they transition classes and

during lunch. c.  All Daily Announcements are posted d.  If you drop something off for your child that is not emergency related, their name will scroll at the bottom as a notification to come to the office.

We provide service through volunteer efforts for many events that greatly enhance the positive atmosphere at SBA. Our primary goal is to foster family involvement and provide a sense of cooperation between home and school.
