NAIRNE

Founded in 1839, Nairne is one of the oldest Adelaide Hills townships and is known for its rich history, evident in the numerous long-standing historical buildings and murals that are scattered throughout the town. The recently completed freeway access has increased the attraction of this charming town, in addition to further developments scheduled for the near future including an upgrade to the Main Street, a Foodland shopping complex and an assortment of restaurants and retail stores to enhance its appeal. Picturesque and peaceful, Nairne offers its residents a country atmosphere within 15 minutes of the modern facilities of Mount Barker and 40 minutes of the Adelaide CBD.
