Most children around the world wear similar clothes. In the USA and the UK children wear T-shirts, shorts, jeans, and running shoes. But, fashions in some countries are hundreds of years old.

Japan The traditional dress in Japan is a kimono. There are many different styles. The kimono is a long robe. Children wear kimonos on special occasions.

Peru In Peru, traditional clothes have bright colors and geometric patterns. They are made from Alpaca wool. The clothing is warm, because it gets cold in the mountain regions.
Canada The Inuit people in northern Canada need very warm clothes. These days, kids wear snowsuits, but their traditional clothes are made from animal skins. Sealskin is strong and waterproof, so it is ideal for boots and gloves. 64 Traditional Children's Clothes

India Traditional clothing in India is made with beautiful fabrics. Girls wear sarees, which are long dresses. Boys wear a kurta, which is a loose shirt.
Germany Russia Traditional clothing for Russian children is beautiful and elaborate. Girls wear a dress called a sarafan for traditional Russian folk songs and folk dancing.
