The Learning Center Program
The Learning Center Program (LCP) at Stoneleigh-Burnham School is uniquely positioned to support aspirational students with a diverse range of learning styles. As with everything we do, our Learning Center Program is rooted in Stoneleigh-Burnham’s deep belief in supporting an inclusive community.

• are challenged by mild to modest executive functioning and/or ADHD
• have lower processing or working memory profiles
• want to build their organizational skills and motivation
• aim to overcome a weakness in a particular academic skill or subject area
• overcome test or classroom anxiety
...AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY, are motivated to take advantage of the support, resources, and strategies to achieve real success.

Since 1869, we have been working with students to prepare them for college and beyond.
>>> Students partner with a dedicated Learning Center Program faculty member to help students develop better academic skills, habits, and learn to advocate for themselves.
>>> Students meet 1-on-1 or in small groups (3-4 students) based on their profile. This personalized approach allows the School to respond to gains or provide additional support when needed. At Stoneleigh-Burnham, we don’t take a one program fits all approach.
>>> A shared responsibility allows for collaboration among faculty and coaches for student accomplishments in and out of the classroom resulting in better college placement.
