The buildings that house the university’s communication arts programs enjoy rich histories that stimulate the people they serve and remain true to the SCAD tradition of adaptive reuse. In Savannah, the graphic design and advertising programs share Adler Hall with the film and television program to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration. Home to the illustration and sequential art departments, Haymans Hall was built in 1926 and named after longtime SCAD illustration professor Traci Haymans, an inspirational leader of the program.
In the Georgia state capital, the advertising, graphic design, illustration and branded entertainment programs are located within the SCAD Atlanta building, constructed in 1956.
