Toy Cart Plus Toy Cart Plus is an indoor and outdoor toy for children aged three to nine years designed by Yue Jia (M.A., industrial design, 2014). It adapts to different levels of intellectual advancement and allows the use of accessories that change what the toy does.

The intention was to cross the barrier between indoors and outdoors while changing configurations to keep the child engaged. The life span of the toy is extended through the development of accessories. In the long term, the ability to update a toy (rather than replace it) saves money and resources. The project was driven by research undertaken through conversations with toy designers, children and parents.
