it all started Scandic Front resides in a building from 1949 and has since had various owners and different names. For many years, our hotel was called Sofie Amalie, but since 2006 it has been called Hotel Front, today Scandic Front. In 2006, the hotel underwent a major renovation and stands today as a state-of-the-art hotel located in the historic part of Copenhagen, close to one of the best known piazzas in town, Kongens Nytorv.
