Founded by Bruno Scandola in 1964, the Company has always been the bearer of theexperience and the ancient tradition of the marble master cutter from Valpantena, in Verona’s province. While maintaining a familiar mark and attention towards artisan, today the Company expands its organization in a international perspective.
Fondata da Bruno Scandola nel 1964, l’azienda si è sempre fatta portatrice dell’esperienza e dell’antica tradizione propria dei maestri tagliatori della zona della Valpantena in provincia di Verona. Nel corso degli anni, l’azienda, pur mantenendo un’impronta familiare e un’attenzione alle produzioni artigianali, ha ampliato la propria organizzazione in ottica internazionale.
The company only works with materials carefully selected, such as marbles, granites and agglomerates. In 2013 Scandola Marmi started the new marble design project, a line of design products in marble in addition to the collections of coverings for the industrial and public housing.
L’azienda lavora solo con materiali di prima qualità, come marmi, graniti e agglomerati. Nel 2013 Scandola Marmi ha avviato il new marble design project, una linea di prodotti di design in marmo che si affianca alle collezioni di rivestimenti per l’edilizia residenziale, industriale e pubblica.

Boomerang is an engagin and irriverent flooring design, a daring form as yet unexplored. If contrasting colors of marbles are combined, it creates extremely modern, psychedelic, optical effects and impact. If you play with different textures while using the same type of marble, Boomerang becomes a soft combination of reflections and shadows. The shape is reminiscent of the herringbone patterned floors typical of Milan historic houses.
A reinterpretation of classic parquet. Industry is a linear marble flooring that thanks to its three different lenghts, particular cut and contrasting colors creates oblique, unexpected and dynamic geometries. The rectangular strip is beveled at 45 degrees, a simple gesture that makes the Industry collection stylish and ideal for home and contract settings.
Boomerang è un modello di pavimento accattivante e irriverente. Una forma inesplorata, che osa. Se si accostano marmi a contrasto si creano effetti ottici psichedelici estremamente moderni e d’impatto. Se si gioca invece con differenti texture mantenendo lo stesso marmo Boomerang diventa una dolce combinazione di riflessi e ombre. La forma ricorda i pavimenti a lisca di pesce tipici delle case della Milano di un tempo.

Rivisitazione del parquet classico a listelli. Industry è un pavimento in marmo lineare che grazie alle tre lunghezze, ai tagli e al contrasto dei colori crea geometrie oblique inaspettate e dinamiche. Il listello rettangolare viene smussato a 45 gradi, un semplice gesto che rende la collezione Industry elegante e ideale per l’home, ma soprattutto per il contract.

Fascinated by Marrakech and by the enchanting atmosphere of that distant land, the designer Manuel Barbieri decided to pay homage with a collection that emphasizes shapes and colors. Marrakech flooring was created to astound by combining the warm and cool tones of six different marbles.
Like the profile of two people holding each other, Profile is composed of two elements that, combined together, form a hexagon. It will be for the client to choose, just as in love, which combinations of marbles and compositions will match perfectly together. It’s a flooring inspired by love and union. And what about you? If you were a marble type, which one would you be?
Affascinato da Marrakech e dall’atmosfera incantevole di quella terra lontana, il designer Manuel Barbieri ha deciso così di renderle omaggio con una collezione che ne enfatizza forme e colori. Il pavimento Marrakech nasce per stupire accostando i toni caldi e freddi di sei differenti marmi colorati.

Come il profilo di due figure che si abbracciano, il pavimento Profile si compone di due elementi che uniti formano un esagono. Saranno gli acquirenti a scegliere e, proprio come in amore, potranno accoppiare infinite tipologie di marmi per realizzare la combinazione perfetta. E’ un pavimento romantico con alla base il pensiero dell’unione d’amore. E tu, se fossi un marmo, quale saresti?

Pochette is reminiscent of the black and white checkerboard of certain interiors stucked in our collective memory. A new way of conceiving the tile square, it now assumes the folds of a wallet‘pochette’ in French-, the iconic accessory of male elegance. The chamfer on one od the edges allows each tile to join the next. An exciting game that gives to the space rigorous dynamism and timeless beauty.
Origami is an eclectic and completely customizable cladding, inspired by the Japanese art of folding paper to obtain various shapes. The lines of the folds transform into a style element that creates a kaleidoscopic puzzle that expresses decorative design.
Pochette ricorda le scacchiere in bianco e nero di certi interni impresse nella memoria collettiva. Rivisitazione della marmetta quadrata, riprende le pieghe di una pochette, accessorio simbolo dell’eleganza maschile. Lo smusso presente su uno degli spigoli permette alla marmetta di entrare nella successiva. Un gioco eccitante che dona rigoroso dinamismo al luogo in cui viene posato.

Origami è un rivestimento eclettico e assolutamente personalizzabile: ispirato all’arte giapponese di piegare un foglio di carta per ottenere figure, i segni delle pieghe diventano elemento di stile per comporre un caleidoscopico puzzle che parla di design decorativo.

The square -a simple geometric shape- is enough to create a graphic play of minimalist flavor featuring the combination of two different finishing in the same marble tile. The square transforms into a frame characterized by a full/ empty element that perfectly fits both walls and floors.
Swing is a cladding that encapsulates its essence in its name: swing. A wall or floor swing suggests new shapes at all times, to be discovered in marble tiles’ perspective paths, featuring the combination of two different finishing. Polishing and matt sanding are the aesthetic traits that represent the refinement of this cladding.
Una forma geometrica semplice, il quadrato, è sufficiente per creare un gioco grafico dal gusto minimalista, grazie anche all’accostamento di due diverse finiture nella stessa marmetta. Il quadrato diventa così una cornice, un elemento pieno/vuoto che calza perfettamente a parete e a pavimento.

A new way to use marble manufacturing wastes in order to create ornaments for gardens, flowerbeds and large vases. White Carrara marble irregular and geometric elements are an elegant and refined replacement for classic bark mulch or common white gravel and stones.

Un nuovo modo per sfruttare gli scarti di lavorazione del marmo e farne un ornamento per giardini, aiuole e grandi vasi. Elelemnti geometrici ed irregolari in marmo bianco di Carrara sostituiscono in maniera elegante e raffinata la classica corteccia o i più comuni sassi bianchi.
