LGV Cat C+E Driving Licence Duration:
Five days
Location:
Avonmouth, Purfleet, Sheffield, Newbridge.
Suitable for:
Anyone who holds a full LGV (Cat C) licence.
Introduction:
Upgrade your existing LGV Category C (rigid) licence to an LGV Category C+E (artic) licence with Scania Driver Experience. You will be trained in a Scania articulated vehicle; we use realistic, full size unit and trailer combinations at 16.5 metres in length. Our aim is for you to attain a driving ability that exceeds the standard required to pass the DSA Driving Test. Skills you can take with you and rely upon as your career progresses.
Content:
The areas covered throughout the five days will include, Vehicle Safety, Use of Controls, Manoeuvring, Awareness and Planning, Coupling and Uncoupling amongst many other related topics. At the end of each day a debrief will take place on your progress so far. At some point during the first four days you will be mock tested in preparation for your DSA driving test.
