Several festivals are also held in Old Town each year, including St. Patrick’s Day on Main, Red, White & BOOM!, the Blues & Jazz Festival, Oktoberfest and ChristmasVille. They are punctuated with races, fireworks, parades and art crawls throughout the year. Concerts are held in Old Town each summer as part of the Old Town Amphitheater Concert Series. Tega Cay, which means “beautiful peninsula” in Polynesian, contains 13 miles of waterfront and amenities that include a 27-hole golf course, lighted tennis courts, athletic fields, a marina, bocce ball and pickle ball courts, playgrounds and walking trails.
