Nine Night Cruise

If you wish to enjoy a slower-paced cruise, then a nine-night cruise allows more time to be immersed in the exotic Mekong. Enjoy more time to breathe in the essence of Vietnam and Cambodia while relaxing on board Scenic Spirit in ultra-luxury.

Early risers

Pre-order coffee, tea or juice the night before and your butler will deliver it to your suite. Watch the sun rise from your suite or the Sun Deck with morning Tai Chi. The joy of rising early means you will see the full day of river life in one location. Watch as the river awakens during a light breakfast at the River Café from 6:30am.

Morning

From 7:00am you can choose from the extensive breakfast options or dine à la carte in Crystal Dining. You may even like to toast the day ahead with a glass of champagne or enjoy the freshly squeezed delights of the juice bar. It’s a good time to book in a massage, reflexology or hair treatment^ appointment for later in the cruise.

Morning exploration

After breakfast, it’s time for your Scenic Freechoice activity, which may include a sampan ride to a local market, a guided walking tour of a historic site or another immersive encounter in a local village. Some Scenic Enrich experiences are also held in the morning such as the monk blessing and alms-giving in Angkor Ban.

Late morning

Depending on the duration of your morning touring, there may be time for independent exploration of the local sites or souvenir shopping. Return to Scenic Spirit and freshen up with a swim in the Vitality Pool and a refreshing beverage from the poolside bar.

Lunch

Enjoy an à la carte lunch in Crystal Dining with different local flavours during your cruise. Enjoy a glass of international wine or beer as Scenic Spirit cruises to the next location. After lunch, head to the wellness area for a workout in the well-equipped gym, take advantage of your on board self-service laundry or unwind in the steam room or sauna.

Afternoon

A relaxed afternoon of cruising is a highlight of the nine-night itinerary. Enjoy afternoon tea in the River Café or head to the Spirit Lounge. Swim in the Vitality Pool and relax in the poolside bar. Just before dusk, Scenic Spirit will arrive in location and you will be able observe life on the river winding down for the day as the sun sets.

Dinner

Enjoy a pre-dinner drink with new friends in the Spirit Lounge. Your Cruise and Tour Directors will brief you on what adventure awaits you tomorrow. Dinner is in Crystal Dining where you can enjoy a five course à la carte dinner. Diamond Deck guests will receive an invitation to dine at the Chef’s Table one evening.

Evening

You will be able to enjoy evenings at leisure or partake in the on board entertainment. Some evenings, you will enjoy a Scenic Sunset Drinks experience such as a Phnom Penh by City Lights tour with a distillery visit for an exclusive tour and tasting behind closed doors.
