Welcome to the very heart of Australia. Begin your discovery of the Red Centre this afternoon with a visit to the Uluru and Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Your Special Stay for two nights is at Sails in the Desert.

Freechoice: See the sun rise over Uluru followed by a walking tour or join a dot painting workshop. Alternatively, explore the desert on a camel ride or trek around Uluru’s base. Later, discover the ancient mysteries of Kata Tjuta and Walpa Gorge.

Travel to the rugged Kings Canyon. Walk along the canyon floor for a relaxed walk.

Alice Springs

Enjoy a tour of Alice Springs, including a visit to the legendary Royal Flying Doctor Service. Dinner tonight is served outdoors and is an outback bush BBQ with bush damper cooking and entertainment by a bush balladeer. Your two night stay in Alice Springs is at the Doubletree by Hilton.

Freechoice: Journey by 4WD along a riverbed to the oasis of Palm Valley via Hermannsburg historic precinct. Alternatively, experience the grandeur of the West McDonnell Ranges.

Darwin > Kakadu

National Park

Travel to World Heritagelisted Kakadu National Park. Visit Nourlangie Rock and marvel at the ancient Aboriginal rock art. Visit Bowali Visitors Centre for a greater understanding of the area before cruising on the Yellow Water Billabong, spotting crocodiles and bird life. Tonight’s stay is at the crocodile-shaped Kakadu Crocodile Hotel.

National Park > Katherine e

Optional flight

Opt to view Kakadu’s lush wetlands and stark escarpments from the air (at additional cost, must be booked prior to departure).

Discover the World Heritagelisted Kakadu National Park and be amazed by the wildlife and Aboriginal art. Tonight, your stay is at the Contour Hotel Katherine.

Kununurra

Journey to Western Australia and let the vast expanse of the Kimberley slowly reveal itself. Visit Lake Argyle, the largest lake in the Southern Hemisphere. This afternoon, take a breathtaking cruise on the Ord River. Marvel at the vast variety of birdlife, immense gorge walls and river scenery. Arrive at The Kimberley Grande or similar for your two night stay.
