Start in Sydney and head north across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge to the Hawkesbury River. Taste wine in the country’s oldest wine-producing region, the Hunter Valley and then head to Tamworth, the birthplace of Australian country music. Marvel at the spectacular silo art in Tamworth, Dunedoo and Gunnedah and visit the copper city, Cobar. Head into outback NSW at the eclectic Broken Hill, where you’ll find a 1950s milk bar and outdoor art installations in the old mining town. Visit World Heritage-listed Mungo National Park and Griffith, the Italian-influenced ‘food bowl of Australia’.
