Step from your comfortable Scenic Slumber Bed to your suite’s floor-to-ceiling window and enjoy the view from your private balcony, as your butler arrives with a coffee. Scenic Eclipse will be holding its place using its GPS Dynamic Positioning system, without dropping anchor onto sensitive seabeds.

Morning exploration

Join an excursion to the ancient ceremonial village of Orongo to see hundreds of mysterious stone figures, or moai, scattered around the island. Explore caves and the huge crater, Rano Kau, an important archaeological site. Alternatively, go scuba diving to find an underwater moai statue.

After a delicious breakfast in one of the dining venues, head to the Marina entrance to meet with the Discovery Team. Each is experts within their field, handpicked to share their unique insights and highlights of this region. They will brief you on what magic will unfold on today’s once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Afternoon exploration

Scenic Eclipse’s limited guest numbers allows the opportunity for multiple experiences throughout the day. Visit a village to be immersed in the indigenous Rapa Nui culture with a thrilling music and dance performance.

After dinner

Experience an evening stargazing at a traditional observatory site and learn about how Polynesians used astronomy. Then, return to the ship for a nightcap in one of the truly all-inclusive nine bars and lounges.

Lunch

Return to your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht and choose lunch from casual options such as Azure Bar & Café and the Yacht Club’s grill.

Afternoon rejuvenation

Back on board, visit the expansive Senses Spa, soak in the outdoor pool or exercise in the POWER: gym. Join your Discovery Leader in the Observation Lounge or theatre for an illustrated recap of the day and learn about tomorrow’s choice of a volcano hike, photography tour, beach day or e-bike excursion.
