Jarjum Gurema (Children’s Story)

We respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which this story was created. We acknowledge the Mununjali Elders, past, present and future who have been sharing stories for thousands of years through oral language. The local Yugambeh (Mununjali dialect) words in this book were collated by the Yugambeh Museum and Mununjali Elders and Mununjali Housing and Development Company Limited. We thank and acknowledge the local descendants who have shared their stories, knowledge and time to create this special book to preserve the Yugambeh language.
