Emerald Harmony is designed, built, owned and operated directly by our regional Emerald Cruises team. Our locally based offices within the region provide ongoing support and training to our crew, so you can rest assured you will receive first-class service throughout your time on board. Personally handpicked, every member of our English-speaking crew is the finest in the industry. The intimate small guest numbers paired with a 1:2 guest-to-staff ratio means there will always be someone on hand to ensure your every need is met.

Built and designed with your safety in mind, Emerald Harmony is the only ship of its class that meets European safety standards, going above and beyond local requirements. State-of-the-art on board features provide complete peace-of-mind during your travel experience. Additionally, our Star-Ship is built to European emission standards, recognising the natural ecosystems along the Mekong River to promote a cleaner, greener footprint.

Advanced Air Treatments

Emerald Harmony is equipped with enhanced HVAC systems throughout the Star-Ship and in every suite. These systems ensure there is no recirculation of inside air on board. You can rest assured knowing that only fresh air from outside is channelled directly into your suite, before being released directly back outside.

Water Treatment

Emerald Harmony goes through three levels of water purification. Water is processed via reverse osmosis, UV steriliser units and multiple levels of carbon filtration, before being stored in the main fresh water tanks to service the entire Star-Ship. All water is regulated to the optimal temperature, preventing any water borne pathogens.

Plastic Free

We have transformed the way we use materials on board and onshore. From complimentary refillable Emerald Cruises bottles and filtered water stations across the Star-Ship, to refillable toiletries in your suite and no plastic straws.

We’ve eliminated all single-use plastic on board and work closely with, and fund, local projects that collect and recycle plastic waste, helping to maintain the natural beauty and improve the living conditions in the region.

Sail directly into the heart of Ho Chi Minh City

Emerald Harmony’s expertly designed bow thruster allows her to manoeuvre safely through the busy Chao Gao canal. As a result, you’ll enjoy unique access into the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, something that other ships of this class and size are unable to do. Safely set foot onshore for a day of exploration, not only avoiding a 90 minute coach trip transfer but also gaining a truly unique, close-up view of life on the river otherwise unseen.
