It is a natural and protected national park and is renowned for having the most exquisite coral reefs in the world and for being a refuge to rare marine life. Stop along the way for photographs before reaching the reserve. Upon arrival visit the mangrove swamp before getting ready for your snorkeling experience. Instructors will lead you during the trip and snorkeling equipment will be provided. Rising 60 meters above sea level is the promontory of Ras Mohammed with its so-called Shark Observatory from where you can enjoy a unique view of the Gulf of Aqaba.
