Discover the Danube with World-Renowned Chef Dale MacKay and Chef Tom Goëtter Chef Dale MacKay, born in Saskatchewan, Canada, discovered his passion for cooking at an early age and honed his skills in kitchens worldwide, including those of Gordon Ramsay and Daniel Boulud. After winning the first season of Top Chef Canada, he returned to Saskatoon and, alongside business partner Christopher Cho, established five successful restaurants under Grassroots Restaurant Group, blending Japanese, Korean, and French influences. A dedicated single dad, Dale enjoys cooking with his son and has showcased his culinary prowess on various shows, including Iron Chef Gauntlet and Top Chef World All-Stars. Chef Tom Goëtter, with a culinary arts master's degree from the Steinberger Academy in Germany, embarked on his cooking career at Hyatt Hotels and trained under Thomas Keller in Napa Valley. He joined Scenic Group as the Executive Chef for Scenic Eclipse in 2019 and currently serves as VP of Hotel Operations, overseeing the culinary programs for Scenic Eclipse Discovery Yachts and Emerald Cruises yachts.
