Founded in 1972, Palmer Trinity School will be celebrating its 50th anniversary throughout the 2021-2022 school year. What began as a promising 22-acre campus in Palmetto Bay has grown into close to 60 acres of tranquil open space that fosters the curiosity, initiative, and critical thinking of Palmer Trinity’s students and provides an ideal backdrop for independent learning.

Palmer Trinity’s mission is reflected in its motto Virtus, Humanitas et Spiritus, support the power of virtue, humanity, and spirit.

Both its middle and upper school programs maintain a balance between traditional academics and innovative instruction. A focus on sustainability, global citizenship, and character development is woven throughout all its courses.

Its comprehensive middle-school program engages students in the core academic disciplines as well as the visual and performing arts, world languages, and physical education. The foundation gained in the middle school provides "the footing for students to stand upon in the upper school," states Patrick Roberts, Head of School.

In the upper school, Palmer Trinity offers a range of courses to meet students' needs and assist them in reaching their greatest academic potential. Students may pursue a traditional curriculum through the AP level in all major disciplines or choose to explore more specialized and innovative courses.

Certified by International Baccalaureate (IB) as an IB World School, Palmer Trinity offers its IB Diploma Programme to upper school students, a two-year program of study that aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people in grades 11-12. Students are encouraged to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

Palmer Trinity also provides other avenues for students to explore and discover with its unique Coral Lab, Technology and Robotics Labs, and music center. Students are also encouraged to engage in community partnerships and collaborative online learning with schools across the country and abroad.

Mosaic, one of Palmer Trinity’s signature programs, compliments its academic program as it raises students' awareness by empowering them to discuss issues pertaining to diversity and inclusivity. They also experience the same core principles when they participate in experiential learning opportunities, including language, culture, service, and adventure travel.

Palmer Trinity School has built its academic program on the pillars of its Episcopal identity, preparing graduates for success as they matriculate to selective colleges and universities both nationally and internationally.
