When you own a beautiful slice of paradise—and your home is still on the drawing table—the future is yours to design. After growing up on opposite coasts and developing strong ties to the Delaware beaches, John Sertich, President of Schell’s sister company, Clean Energy USA, and his wife, Virginia, a freelance marketing consultant, decided to prioritize the beach lifestyle they had grown to love. By centering their new home concept on family and friends, this enterprising couple created an inviting space for entertaining out-of-town guests and relaxing after fun-filled beach adventures. Along with daughters Maggie and Emily, they’ve built a genuine, coastal retreat that makes everyone feel at home.
