4TH OF JULY JUBILEE

Join the City of Schertz for the 45th Annual 4th of July Jubilee Celebration. The day begins at 9:15 a.m. with the ‘Let Freedom Run’ 5K followed by a downtown parade. Head out to Pickrell Park at 6 p.m. for an evening of live music, Family Zone activities, kids’ carnival, festival food, and Fireworks! Schertz is proud to host one of South Texas’ largest tributes to freedom and independence.

NATIONAL WATERMELON DAY

August 3, 5 - 7 p.m. @ Pickrell Park Pool What’s better than watermelon in the summer?! Floating watermelons in the pool! Celebrate with us by participating in watermelon-themed contests, games, and activities. Regular pool admission applies.

MOVIN ON MAIN

April 3, 12 - 4 p.m. @ Main Street In partnership with the Schertz Family Y, Movin on Main invites you to gather your friends and family to enjoy a variety of fun with healthy activities along the enclosed Main Street route, to include fitness class demonstrations and various local health and wellness vendors offering giveaways and educational materials. Several food and refreshment stations will be available to fuel your appetite and energize you for a day of highenergy excitement.

FLOAT & FIREWORKS

July 4, 6 - 10 p.m. @ Pickrell Park Pool; $3 per person with advance purchase only Don’t wait too long to reserve your place for the coolest seat in the house during the 4th of July Jubilee Fireworks Spectacular! Participants will enjoy the show from the cool waters of the pool while lounging on patriotic pool noodles. Limited capacity applies for the event.
