ATHLETE BIO Hailing from Switzerland and turning professional in 2007, Ryf rose to prominence in 2014 and hasn’t faded since, winning the 70.3 World Championship that year and following it up with a repeat victory in 2015, and again in 2017. Likewise, Ryf defeated all comers in 2015, 2016 and 2017 to take the crown at the Kona World Championship. Ask any triathlon expert, pundit or athlete, and they’ll tell you that Daniela Ryf is triathlon’s top competitor.

BIO One of the biggest personalities, most loved stars and most accomplished athletes in triathlon history, Mirinda “Rinny” Carfrae is tackling an all- new challenge in 2017: parenthood. Rinny and her husband, fellow professional triathlete Tim O’Donnell, welcomed their daughter Isabelle Grace into the world in August. Now Rinny is back in action, and will be eying her competition for 2018.

BIO Hailing from Australia, Ashleigh Gentle is an ITU triathlon specialist, having dedicated her career to draft-legal racing at the highest level of competition. A lifelong athlete, Gentle took part in a variety of sporting activities throughout her life, including cross- country running. She holds a degree in Nutrition from Griffith University, and she has also trained with the Australian Institute of Sport.

ATHLETE BIO Kaisa Sali is one of the fastest rising stars in the world of triathlon, particularly at the full Ironman distance. Hailing from Finland, Sali burst onto the scene in 2016 at the biggest stage in the world at the Kona World Championship on the big island of Hawaii. She took an impressive 5th place finish. One year later, she repeated that performance with another top five effort. Sali also took wins in 2017 at the Ironman Arizona and Ironman African Championship events. Look for her to be a podium threat in every race she enters.

The charismatic Australian comes to the big island of Hawaii with plenty of grit and determination, having secured his spot by winning the Asia-Pacific Championship earlier in 2017. BIO Camilla Pedersen is the most winning Danish Triathlete. Camilla is five times European Champ and World Long Distance Champ. Camilla miraculously recovered from a bike crash accident in 2013 sending her 19 days in coma. Camilla struggled her way back to life, and back to Triathlon. 6 month after the accident, she won her comeback race at Challenge Fuerteventura, and excatly 1 year after her accidemt, she became World Long Distance Champion. In 2014 Camilla won the two most prestigious sports prizes in Denmark, “Sportsname of the Year” and “BT Gold” for her comeback and World Championship title. Camilla has an outstanding willpower with a motto: “Winners never quit, quitters never win”.

ATHLETE BIO Joanna Brown competed in her first triathlon at age 14, and a year later she won the Valleyfield Eastern Canadian Championships. After making her international debut in 2009, Brown made herself known to the triathlon world with her bronze medal in the ITU World Junior Championship at the 2010 Grand Final. She had another great year in 2012 when she made her debut on the ITU World Triathlon Series, reached the podium in four Pan American Cup races, including one victory, and won a bronze medal at the ITU World U23 Championships, held at the Grand Final. Most recently, 2017 brought her a gold medal at the Ottawa CAMTRI Sprint Triathlon Premium American Cup and another gold in the Mixed Relay American Championships.
