Telling the Time 1 introduces the concepts of o’clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to, as well as teaching about time in a wider sense, including times of day, days of the week, months of the year and seasons. Telling the Time 2 introduces counting in 5s around the clock and the related ‘minutes past’ and ‘minutes to’ times, while also comparing analogue faces with digital displays. Telling the Time 3 focuses on understanding different methods of telling the time, including Roman numerals, digital 12-hour clocks, 24-hour clocks and time zones, as well as featuring a range of time problems.
