GRADUATING SCHOLARS 2016

Amanda Lee BACHELOR OF HEALTH SCIENCES IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE

Amanda will be travelling to Korea and Hong Kong in May, while aspiring to study medicine and research soon.

Anita Lazurko BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING

Anita will be traveling to Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia over the summer before starting her Master’s in Water and Environmental Policy and Management at Oxford.

Colin Brown BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN MECHANICAL & BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING (HONOURS)

Colin will begin a Master’s program in engineering at the University of Waterloo.

Connor Scheu BACHELOR OF SCIENCE WITH DISTINCTION IN CIVIL ENGINEERING, SPECIALIZING IN ENERGY AND THE ENVIRONMENT (INTERNSHIP)

Connor has entered the new graduate program at Shell Canada in the role of Project Controls Engineer.

James Thorogood BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

James is moving to Nairobi, Kenya to work with a hydroponics start-up that provides low cost cattle feed for the dairy sector.

Lindsay Delmar BACHELOR OF HEALTH SCIENCES IN HEALTH & SOCIETY

Lindsay has applied to medical school and is waiting to hear back. Until then, she is working downtown at an engineering firm doing document and cost control for a pipelines group.

Lindsay Jones BACHELOR OF COMMERCE IN FINANCE

Lindsay will be travelling to Nepal and Tibet this summer, and will start full time as an Investment Banking Analyst at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets.


Mark Lee BACHELOR OF ARTS IN PHILOSOPHY (HONOURS) BACHELOR OF COMMERCE IN FINANCE

Mark will be travelling to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Australia, Korea, and Japan this summer before starting work in New York City as an investment banking analyst at RBC Capital Markets in August.

Michael Tom BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

Michael will be completing the MD program at Harvard Medical School and MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Michelle Au BACHELOR OF HEALTH SCIENCE (HONOURS) IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES, MINOR IN MUSIC

Michelle’s goal is to attend medical school in the near future, to continue traveling, and to continue her work both at the Autism Asperger’s Friendship Society of Calgary, and as a piano instructor.

Mohit Vohra BACHELOR OF HEALTH SCIENCES IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE

Mohit is still waiting to hear back from Medical schools, and has also applied for a Master’s in cancer research.

Rachel Malone BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN CHEMICAL & BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING

Rachel will be starting a Master’s of Science in Chemical Engineering in May with Dr. Milana Trifkovic at the University of Calgary.

Sabrina Poonja BACHELOR OF HEALTH SCIENCE (HONOURS) IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES

Sabrina is looking to attend Medical School next year.
