Location should provide fixed serviced support facilities and ease of access to alternate learning areas – taking best advantage of ‘in between spaces’ and providing access to outdoor space where appropriate. why? Subject learning hubs are intended to support a variety of learning activities - while being discipline specific, providing high quality support facilities.

where? Generally required in all learning environments, its size being dependant on the capacity of learning environment. why? These spaces will always be required - they provide spaces to come together both formally and informally, socially and academically, in large or small groups.
